On 14 and 15 April, the Spain Tourism Board in Singapore took an active role at The Meetings Show Asia Pacific, held at the iconic Sands Expo & Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands. This key event provided an opportunity to connect with leading figures and professionals from the MICE sector across the region. During the event, the Spanish delegation held a total of 56 business meetings with buyers, agencies and DMCs interested in the destination. These one-to-one sessions proved vital for showcasing Spain’s diverse offering, strengthening commercial ties and forging new strategic alliances within the Asia-Pacific market. In addition to the business agenda, the team took part in various conferences on innovation and global trends, ensuring that Spain remains at the forefront of the sector’s current demands. The experience was rounded off with networking events, such as the welcome cocktail reception, which provided an ideal setting for building lasting professional relationships in a relaxed and direct manner. Given the positive atmosphere and growth potential demonstrated by this event year after year, we intend to continue participating in future editions, committed to a platform that has established itself as a key event for our office.
