Spain Tourism Board’s Activities
The Spain Tourism Board in Singapore coordinated the Spanish pavilion and kicked off the event on Monday, June 29, by hosting a welcome session at our offices for the delegation. During this briefing, we shared market intelligence on the 9 regional markets managed directly by our Singapore office. Additionally, a representative from the Spain Tourism Board in Guangzhou delivered a specialized presentation focusing on the Chinese market.

Spain Tourism Board Pavilion hosted a total of 20 representatives, including 17 destinations and private companies, alongside three trade experts from the Singapore and Guangzhou offices. This team was responsible for driving business and bridging cultural gaps with buyers from Southeast Asia, Oceania, China, and Hong Kong. The Spanish co-exhibitors maintained an excellent momentum, averaging 20 pre-scheduled 15-minute meetings per day, supplemented by numerous spontaneous appointments.
The delegation representing destinations, inbound agencies, and premium shopping included Basque Country Confidential, Granada Exclusive, Romotur, Warq Tourism, Your Trip to Spain & Portugal, El Corte Inglés, and Galería Canalejas.
The hospitality sector was represented by Ca'n Beneit | Iconic Retreat, El Avenida Palace, Hotel Carlton 5* Bilbao, Hotel Maria Cristina San Sebastian, Hotel Palace Barcelona, Hotel Sor Madrid, Marugal Hotel Collection, Nobu Hotel Barcelona, Palladium Hotel Group, and Vincci Hoteles.

Institutional and commercial backing was provided by the Spain Tourism Board in Singapore (with dedicated desks for Southeast Asia, and Australia & New Zealand) and the Spain Tourism Board in Guangzhou.
Throughout the three-day trade show, our Singapore team maintained a high-level institutional agenda, conducting 120 meetings with key travel agencies and specialized media. Furthermore, to address the sharp increase in buyers from China, the Guangzhou representative managed a dedicated desk with an independent schedule, providing crucial strategic and commercial support in Mandarin and Cantonese.
