Buen Camino Exhibition Manila
Buen Camino Exhibition Manila
The Way of St James is an ancient pilgrimage route that winds its way through Spain to the tomb of St James the Apostle, bringing together travellers from all over the world on a unique journey of spirituality, nature, personal growth and a rich cultural and architectural heritage. Recently, the Spanish Tourist Board played an active role in the launch of ‘Buen Camino’, a magnificent exhibition dedicated precisely to this iconic Spanish tradition, which has been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The exhibition opened on 25 June at 5.00 pm in the historic cloisters of the San Agustín Museum in Intramuros, on a significant date that served to commemorate Spanish-Filipino Friendship Day. This cultural initiative was the result of close collaboration between the Instituto Cervantes, the AECID, Tourspain and the San Agustín Museum itself, an institution which expressed its deep gratitude to the Spanish Embassy for making it possible for this exhibition to be hosted on its premises.

Through a visual and historical journey that will run until 25 September, visitors in Manila were able to immerse themselves in the essence of the Camino de Santiago, discovering a journey that transcends borders and is deeply rooted in history, reflection and human connection.
