Spain is proud to participate as Angel Partner and Country in Focus at KASHISH Pride Film Festival 2026, South Asia’s largest LGBTQI+ film festival, taking place in Mumbai from 3 to 7 June 2026. As part of this collaboration, audiences will have the opportunity to discover a selection of Spanish feature films and short films at Liberty Cinema and the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Mumbai, showcasing the diversity, creativity and cultural richness of contemporary Spain. A special highlight of the programme is the “Country in Focus – Spain” screening of Love & Revolution (Te Estoy Amando Locamente) on 4 June 2026 at 14:30 hrs at Liberty Cinema.  Spain will also participate in the panel discussion “Cinema, Culture & Tourism: The Spain–India Connection”, exploring the links between cinema, travel and cultural exchange between Spain and India. Under the theme “Spain, where diversity lives”, this partnership reflects Spain’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and LGBTQI+ rights, as well as its position as one of the world’s leading LGBTQI+ friendly travel destinations.
