INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE: STUDY SPANISH IN SPAIN
The Tourism Office of Spain, in collaboration with FEDELE, is organising a special event at Amity University Mumbai on 23 April to celebrate the International Day of the Spanish Language. This initiative aims to promote Spain as a destination for language tourism and offers students the opportunity to discover how learning Spanish in Spain combines cultural immersion with academic training. The event will feature presentation by the Tourism Office of Spain on opportunities to study Spanish in Spain, and student friendly Spanish destinations. The programme will also include cultural performances by students of the university. The highlight of the event, and a key attraction for students is a raffle through which two participants will win return flight tickets to Spain sponsored by the Tourism Office of Spain in India, along with scholarships for Spanish language courses in Spain offered by FEDELE. Three FEDELE federated schools viz. Proyecto Español, Carlos V Education and Saint Gabriel International are participating in this initiative, providing students with access to high quality Spanish language programmes in Spain. This marks the first time that the Tourism Office of Spain in India is offering fully sponsored Spanish language scholarships to students, and represents a significant milestone in promoting Spain as a destination for language learning. The activity is part of Turespaña’s ongoing commitment to position Spain as a preferred destination for language learning among Indian students, and fosters stronger cultural and educational ties between India and Spain.
