Little Spain @ Jewel – A Spanish Experience in Singapore
From 16 to 28 October 2025, the Spain Tourism Board (Tourspain), in partnership with Changi Airport Group, launched “Little Spain @ Jewel”, a pop-up cultural exhibition bringing the sights, sounds, and flavors of Spain to Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore. The opening featured the presence of H.E. Mercedes Alonso Frayle, Ambassador of Spain to Singapore, Marta Fernández Martín, Director of Tourspain for Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and Florence Liau, Assistant General Manager of Air Hub and Cargo Development at CAG.

The event offered a multi-sensory experience capturing the essence of Spain, from its rich cultural heritage and iconic destinations to art, gastronomy, and lifestyle. Visitors explored a mini-Spanish town, learned about the Camino de Santiago, and engaged with interactive experiences such as the El Corte Inglés Shopper Personality Test to discover which Spanish city best matched their style.

Authentic Spanish gourmet products were also showcased through Ecolah, featuring extra virgin olive oils, artisan preserves, and traditional sweets, highlighting the quality and diversity of Spain’s culinary offerings.

The experience was complemented by Spanish gastronomy across participating restaurants, each presenting unique interpretations of the country’s cuisine: Olivia Restaurant & Lounge with Mediterranean-inspired homestyle cooking, Kulto with tapas and paellas, My Little Spanish Place offering traditional mesón-style dishes, Esquina with modern Spanish and Catalan flavors, and Carlitos with classic Spanish plates.

Little Spain @ Jewel demonstrated Spain’s commitment to promoting its culture, gastronomy, and tourism in Asia, providing a unique platform for experiencing the richness and creativity of Spain without leaving Singapore.
