Al-Andalus Heritage Content Creator Familiarization Trip

Al-Andalus Heritage Content Creator Familiarization Trip (Singapore and Malaysia)

The Spain Tourism Board in Singapore concluded a successful familiarization trip with content creators from Singapore and Malaysia, centered on the exploration of Spain’s Al-Andalus legacy and the breathtaking Mudejar artistic tradition.

The itinerary took participants through Toledo, Córdoba, and the region of Aragón — destinations rich in Islamic and Mudejar heritage. From historic mosque cathedrals to intricate architectural marvels, the journey offered an in-depth look at the cultural convergence that defines much of Spain’s historic identity.

The trip also highlighted authentic Muslim-friendly travel experiences, with a focus on inclusive hospitality, heritage preservation, and culturally respectful storytelling.

The Spain Tourism Board extends its sincere appreciation to Fundación Las Fuentes, Territorio Mudéjar, Eturia CLM (Empresa Pública de Promoción del Turismo y la Artesanía de Castilla-La Mancha S.A.), and Turismo de Zaragoza for their outstanding support and hospitality. Their ongoing efforts to preserve and promote Spain’s Islamic and Mudejar heritage continue to inspire and pave the way for deeper cross-cultural engagement. This initiative is part of the Spain Tourism Board’s broader commitment to promoting diverse, inclusive tourism experiences for travelers from Southeast Asia and beyond.
