OET ROME PARTICIPATES IN GLOBEMEETS B2B NETWORKING EVENT 2026 IN ISTANBUL

The Spanish Tourist Office in Rome participated in the GlobeMeets B2B Networking Event, held on 10 and 11 September in Istanbul. The event is one of the leading professional meetings dedicated to outbound tourism, bringing together destinations, tourism companies and tourism promotion organisations with travel agencies, tour operators and other industry professionals from Türkiye and numerous international markets. The event is characterised by its exclusively professional format, based on pre-scheduled B2B meetings aimed at creating new business opportunities.

During the two-day event, OET Rome had its own space in the networking area, where it held meetings with a large number of travel agencies, tour operators and other professionals interested in expanding their programmes to include Spain. The stand served as an information point on Spain’s extensive tourism offering, showcasing the diversity of destinations, products and experiences available throughout the year. The Spanish Tourist Office also held 77 individual B2B meetings, pre-arranged through the event’s official platform, with agencies specialising in leisure, cultural, luxury, MICE and tailor-made tourism. These meetings provided an opportunity to establish new business contacts, strengthen existing relationships with tour operators and present the latest developments in Spain’s tourism offering, tailored to the needs of the Turkish market.
