B2B ACTION DEDICATED TO NATURE AND INLAND TOURISM IN HUELVA AND JAÉN

From 22 to 27 September, the Spanish Tourism Office in Rome took part in a tourism promotion initiative in Huelva and Jaén, with the participation of a Turkish travel agent, as part of the 6th International Nature & Inland Meeting. The programme began in Aracena, exploring its heritage and gastronomy, including the tradition of Iberian ham and the Gruta de las Maravillas. The itinerary continued through Jabugo and Higuera de la Sierra and to the Riotinto Mining Park, where a networking session was also held between Andalusian tourism businesses and international buyers. In Jaén, the trip provided an opportunity to discover the heritage of Porcuna and Jaén and to experience olive oil tourism through a visit to an olive oil mill. Nature also played a central role, with a 4x4 experience in the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, hiking activities and visits to several towns in the area. An experience that allowed the participant to discover the diversity of inland Andalusia through a combination of nature, heritage, gastronomy and local products.
