The Spanish Tourism Institute (TURESPAÑA) will hold the 5th edition of its annual Convention from October 7 to 9, one of the most important events for the Spanish tourism sector. This year, it will take place at the Conference and Exhibition Centre of Cáceres, with the support of the Regional Government of Extremadura. The 2025 edition will focus on experiential tourism addressing the main challenges and opportunities of the sector through the lens of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. "The Turespaña Convention has become an essential meeting point between Turespaña and Spanish tourism destinations and businesses. It is a forum for sharing experiences, and collaboratively building Spain’s tourism marketing strategy. It is also a unique opportunity for industry professionals to gain insight into Turespaña’s work and connect with key players in the tourism field," said Miguel Sanz, Director General of Turespaña. A Space for Strategic Planning and Public-Private Cooperation The Convention is aimed at tourism promotion bodies, public administrations, industry associations, tourism companies, universities and sector experts both national and international. More than 500 professionals are expected to attend. Over the course of three days, participants will engage in plenary sessions, panel discussions, best practice presentations, and technical meetings with Spain's Tourism Offices abroad and the various departments of TURESPAÑA. Preliminary Program:

• Tuesday, October 7: Working meetings between destinations, companies, and representatives of Turespaña’s international offices. Welcome dinner in the evening.
• Wednesday, October 8: Plenary sessions, keynote speeches, and networking spaces. Official dinner.
• Thursday, October 9: Plenary sessions and closing remarks.
