Andalucia, 18 from May from 2025 - 23 from May from 2025
Forum of Singular Experiences: Surrender to Excellence of Andalucía
Turismo Andaluz, in collaboration with Turespaña and with the provincial tourism boards of Seville-Prodetur, Cádiz, and Costa del Sol, launched the Forum of Singular Experiences: Surrender to Excellence of Andalucía, from May 18 to 23, 2025.
This multi-market meeting for travel agents from the premium segment was held in the provinces of Seville, Cádiz, and Málaga. B2B workshops were held in Andalucía with local entrepreneurs from the high-end segment, one in Seville and another in Marbella, tailored in size to the demand of profiles and markets of origin.
The rest of the program was structured as a fam trip but with a strong focus on creating unique and singular experiences that can only be discovered in Andalucía. Seeking to escape from clichés, but, at the same time, highlighting the essence of Andalucía, the participants could enjoy unique and memorable visits and activities, gastronomic experiences that showcased the local offerings (km 0), contact with the local population, new and charming accommodations, and first-class services.

The Andalusian Crush started from the 18th May 2025 and from the word go, it was a truly remarkable experience.
The workshops on the 19th and 22nd May, were very well planned and executed. The very fact that we, the buyers, had our fixed seating and it was the sellers who were hopping on and off, from one table to another, made the meeting experience so much more easy going and more relaxed for the buyers to plan their meets accordingly.
My highlights being the fact that one could book the Alhambra for their guests as a private tour at a cost of 9000€, was something that could appeal to my guests. Meeting hotels like Anantara opens up a whole new segment of luxury offerings for my guests. The Gran Melia, Cadiz is something I am really thrilled about.
The mix of sellers, from DMCs to luxury hotels, and attractions, helped give a detailed insight into all, that the Andalusian region has to offer in terms of experiences.
The mix of the local sightseeing on all days has been truly educational. From the Nao Victoria Center, Exhibition showcasing the "First trip around the world" to visiting the Bull Ring in Sevilla. It was not only the places of visit, but the personalized touch at each of the locations which made it more special.
I could go on about each sightseeing place, but it would all be the same. The fact that we got to visit an actual feria festival in Cadiz was definitely one of my highlights for the tour.
The hotel selections, especially the Gran Melia palacio de Sancti Petri, Cadiz, was the true gem of the tour. I didn’t want to leave the hotel after just one night!
To give the due credit, even the el Fuerte Marbella was a fantastic property. And the workshop venue at the hotel Don Pepe Gran Melia was truly a class apart.

The tours and meetings organised by the team in Andalucía was very well done, attending to all minute details.
The hotels chosen were very tasteful and had a lot of character and typically what upmarket clients will be interested in.
The Hotel Querencia de Sevilla was very centrally located and in the midst of many interesting and historical sites, all within walking distance from the hotel.
The Gran Melia Palacio de Sancti Petri in Chiclana was an exceptional property and watching the sunset from their rooftop bar was spectacular. We were sad to leave this property after the one night stay.
Our final stay in El Fuerte Marbella was also memorable, as this too was a beautiful large property in close proximity to the beach. My top picks on the tours: 1. the Visit to the Bullring in Seville was interesting. Unfortunately we were not able to witness a bullfight... I am sure this is on many travellers bucket list. 2. We were also pleasantly surprised when Turismo Andaluz organised a Flamenco Dance show after the visit to the Bullring. This wasn't on the agenda and was appreciated by all participants. 3. The visit to the Forja Lebrija was also a memorable one where the participant had an opportunity to also partake in the activities and make their own forged iron memorables. 4. Spain is known for their great wines and visiting the wineries for wine tasting was also a nice experience. 5. The visit to the feria was unbelievable as I personally have not visited a feria that started in the morning and continued throughout the day and night and still attracted so many locals who were dressed in their best attires, it was indeed a wow experience and I understand that most towns have their own ferias that are eagerly looked forward to by the local community. 6. Another interesting visit was to the Tuna Factory, where we witnessed the arrival of the boats with their giant Tunas and had the opportunity to see a live cooking demonstration and tasting of the much desired Japanese Sashimi
