Toledo travels through history once more with the 2026 season at Puy du Fou España

Over 190 days open, new scenic details, and a record number of performances strengthen the park’s cultural offering

Puy du Fou España is a theme park that combines leisure, culture, and shows with a journey through the country’s history. It hosts large-scale stage productions spanning over 1,500 years of history, integrating historical narrative with elements of legend. This offering is organized into daytime and nighttime shows, supported by careful staging, special effects, and recreations of different eras, all shaping an experience designed for diverse audiences. This year, Puy du Fou España is embarking on a new season with an expanded program, a renewed commitment to the artistic experience, and the launch of its first major national brand campaign. With more than 190 days open—until January 2027—and the aim of surpassing 1.9 million visitors, the park strengthens its position as one of the country’s most distinctive cultural and tourist projects, combining historical shows, scenic innovation, and a narrative inviting visitors to travel through centuries of history. This new season presents itself as a new chapter in Puy du Fou’s evolution. Since its establishment in Toledo (Castile-La Mancha), the project has developed a cultural model based on large-scale historical shows that combine narrative, monumental scenography, and stage technology, seeking to transport visitors to different episodes of Spain's history. This artistic concept unfolds in a vast natural setting, as visitors explore historic villages, artisan workshops, and staged spaces created to build an immersive experience. Each show forms part of an overall narrative that connects various historical moments and cultural traditions, thereby creating a journey that combines entertainment, emotion, and education. At the core of this offering, lies El Sueño de Toledo, the largest show organized in Spain, which will exceed 160 performances during the 2026 season. This production, developed on a 5-hectare stage and featuring more than 2,000 characters, packs 1,500 years of history into a 70-minute format and has been internationally recognized for its scenic innovation.

What’s more, this year, improvements have been incorporated into all the park’s shows, with new scenes, staging adjustments, and a more immersive narrative to enhance the audience’s experience. This process of continuous evolution aims to elevate the artistic quality of the park’s shows and preserve the project’s distinctive character. One of the key moments on the calendar will be the Christmas season, renowned as one of the park’s most popular events. In 2026, it will return with new stage creations and a new location for the La Alegría de Navidad show, plus added meet and greet events with the Three Wise Men. One of the key new additions is the transformation of the Cetrería de Reyes, which incorporates more than 100 new birds and a total of 300 species, consolidating itself as one of the biggest falconry shows in the world. Meanwhile, the park also maintains its commitment to respecting nature and landscape integration.

This season is accompanied by the launch of La Llamada: the park’s first large-scale national brand campaign, designed to boost its recognition throughout the country. This audiovisual piece, broadcast on television and digital media, uses cinematic language to convey the emotion of the experience on offer. With this combination of artistic innovation, expanded programming, and brand development, Puy du Fou España approaches 2026 as a pivotal year. In it, the project aims to reinforce its role as a cultural, tourist, and creative engine from Toledo, inviting visitors to experience history transformed into spectacle.
