Three new hotels redefining luxury along the Andalusian coast
Three internationally renowned chains elevate the premium offering with design, wellness, and gastronomy
Andalusia is reinforcing its position as a luxury destination with the opening of three new hotels committed to exclusivity, distinctive architecture, and personalized experiences. These establishments, located in strategic destinations along the Andalusian coast, are designed for travelers who expect excellence in every aspect of their trip. Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella (Málaga). After an extensive renovation, the legendary Los Monteros hotel has reopened under the Kimpton luxury name, offering 195 rooms, including 60 suites. This resort, located less than half a mile from the Mediterranean, has fully embraced a lifestyle that combines local history with contemporary design. The property offers event spaces, as well as a comprehensive wellness program that includes yoga, pilates, tennis courts, and access to golf courses. Guests can also enjoy the Spa by Maison Codage Paris, with its personalized treatments and a spacious pool area. Meanwhile, the culinary offering lies at the heart of the experience, with José Carlos García—a Michelin-starred chef—heading up the resort’s kitchens as executive chef. Here, guests and visitors can take advantage of the main restaurant, Jara, where they’ll find Mediterranean cuisine on the menu; the Escondido Rooftop, serving up Mexican food beside its infinity pool with views over Marbella; the Azul Lounge Bar, with its specialty coffees and breakfast in the morning, plus live music and cocktails in the evening; the Costa Club Pool Bar; and the La Cabane Dolce & Gabbana beach club. OKU Andalusia (La Línea de la Concepción, Cádiz). This 5-star hotel has been reborn on the site of a former resort to offer its guests a luxurious experience. The establishment, inspired by the Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy, is made up of 255 rooms, infinity pools, and four restaurants presenting culinary delights from Japan, Asia, and South America. On top of all this, OKU offers a kids’ club and a dedicated teen program, emphasizing its family-friendly appeal. The hotel also boasts a spa spanning 21,500 square feet, tennis and paddle courts, and a beach club with an exclusive adults-only area.

Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol (Cádiz). Located in San Roque, near Sotogrande, this hotel offers 306 rooms, including 156 suites (of which 30 enjoy their own private pools), and 47 villas nestled on terraces evoking a traditional Andalusian village. This luxury concept is based around spacious living areas, locally sourced seasonal ingredients, and tailored guest experiences. The hotel’s amenities include a 19,000 sq ft spa, two bars, and four restaurants: Bardal, led by chef Benito Gómez (a twice-Michelin-starred chef), plus El Faro, Umbra, and the Beach Club. The hotel also offers an event hall with capacity for 280 guests.
