Valencia unveils new hotels for every guest to have the perfect stay
Design, sustainability, and local spirit: the hallmarks of the city’s newest hotels
Valencia is boosting its standing as an urban destination with four new hotels that enrich the city’s hospitality landscape, each with their own unique approach. These hotels, ranging from classic and luxurious to smart and accessible, strike the perfect balance between sustainability, bespoke interior design, and restoring cultural assets. Brands such as Autograph Collection, Novotel, EasyHotel, and One Shot Hotels are shaking up the city’s diverse range of accommodation options, catering to the modern traveler looking for one-of-a-kind urban experiences. Located in the heart of the city, the Gran Hotel Centenari Valencia, part of the Autograph Collection, has 53 art deco design-inspired rooms. Its bar-restaurant, Soul of 1927, blends the charm of classic French bistros with local gastronomic delicacies. The lobby has a grand piano for live performances, while the rooftop is a welcoming spot where guests can sip on cocktails while taking in the awe-inspiring panoramic views. Moreover, the hotel has teamed up with the Valencian Institute of Modern Art and the Hortensia Herrero Art Center to offer cultural programs within a BREEAM-certified building designed in accordance with sustainable principles.

The Novotel Valencia Lavant has 370 rooms spread across 11 floors. Highlights include its rooftop with a swimming pool and bar, a gym with its own treatment room, eight meeting rooms, and a spacious co-working area. Its Papúa Valencia restaurant serves a fusion of local and international flavors, while the renovated building has its own private parking lot. The interior design by the Sundukovy Sisters oozes the “Your Time, Your Way” philosophy. The One Shot Puerta Ruzafa offers a 4-star boutique experience with 92 rooms designed by Alejandra Pombo Estudio. Each floor reflects a stage of the natural cycle, with the entire hotel envisioned as a family retreat. The hotel stands out for its aesthetic vision inspired by the spirit of the Ruzafa neighborhood, oozing a chilled vibe with its own personality. Located in Plaza Rojas Clemente, the easyHotel Valencia Ciutat Vella opens in August, with 95 rooms for visitors seeking practicality and affordability. The building is constructed with energy-efficient materials and low-emission systems, resulting in a 39% reduction in CO₂ emissions over the course of its lifecycle. It is in a strategic location just a stone’s throw away from the Cathedral, the Central Market, and the Turia Gardens.

These four new hotel boost Valencia’s appeal as a vibrant destination that blends history, sustainability, design, and a diverse range of styles with something for every traveler.
