Letter from the General Manager of Turespaña
Dear tourism sector professionals, Turespaña is extremely proud to share two recent milestones with you that reinforce Spain’s commitment to sustainable, high-quality, and value-added tourism, aspects that are gaining traction among international travelers.

Firstly, we are celebrating the inclusion of a new establishment in the public Paradores network: the Parador de Molina de Aragón. Located in an enclave brimming with historical and natural value, this new parador is in the province of Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha, not far from Madrid. Its stunning medieval castle, its well-preserved historic quarter, and its proximity to the Alto Tajo Nature Reserve—one of the peninsula’s most spectacular natural areas—make this destination a one-of-a-kind proposal that strikes the perfect balance between heritage, nature and authenticity. Moreover, its traditional cuisine and peaceful environment make it the perfect destination for those seeking cultural and sustainable experiences in Spain. We encourage you to spread the word about it as a jewel to be discovered; perfect for visitors who value authenticity and contact with the country’s immersive history. This opening coincides with a major renovation of these Parador buildings—an integral part of our historical and cultural heritage—aimed at enhancing their efficiency, sustainability, and heritage value. A standout example is the renovation of the iconic Parador de Granada, which has proven hugely popular with international travelers. Located in a former Nasrid palace within the Alhambra, this parador offers a one-of-a-kind experience that combines art, history and hospitality. Granada, with its Andalusian heritage, its buzzing cultural life, the charming Albaicín and its exquisite gastronomy, continues to establish itself as a premier cultural destination. The second milestone we would like to share with you is the release of the most recent 2024 International Tourist Satisfaction Survey results drawn up by our market intelligence department. The numbers speak for themselves: 97% of international visitors report being satisfied or very satisfied with their experience in Spain. Key elements such as cultural activities, hospitality, gastronomy and accommodation quality are among the most highly rated aspects, further establishing Spain as a go-to destination known for its reliability, diversity, and excellence. Thank you, as always, for the trust you have placed in Turespaña and your ongoing collaboration. We will continue to work diligently to offer you tools, data, and proposals that bring real value. Sincerely, Miguel Sanz CastedoDirector General of TURESPAÑA
