Hotel excellence in Spain has reached a new level with the recent introduction of the Michelin Keys, a distinction that recognises the most exceptional establishments for their uniqueness, charm and incomparable service. This recognition, awarded by the prestigious Michelin Guide, seeks to highlight those hotels that offer unforgettable experiences to their guests, fusing luxury, authenticity and exceptional hospitality. 97 hotels in Spain have been awarded this recognition: 80 of them with 1 Key, 12 with 2 and five with 3 Keys, the latter located in Aragon, Castilla y León, Catalonia, Extremadura and Madrid: Torre del Marqués Hotel Spa & Winery (Teruel): Exclusive accommodation with 18 rooms, located in a historic 18th century tower. Abadía Retuerta LeDomain (Ribera del Duero): Luxury boutique hotel in a 12th century monastery, with a restaurant run by chef Marc Segarra, awarded with 1 Michelin Star and 1 Green Star. Terra Dominicata - Hotel & Winery (Serra de Montsant National Park): Located in a former monastic farm dating back to the 12th century, it combines history, nature and wine tourism in a unique setting. Atrio Restaurante Hotel (Cáceres): Gastronomic icon run by 3 Michelin-starred chef Toño Pérez, offering an exclusive experience with 14 luxury rooms. Mandarin Oriental Ritz (Madrid): An iconic hotel in a Belle Époque palace, a benchmark for hospitality in the capital. Its restaurant Deessa, managed by Quique Dacosta, has 2 Michelin stars. Each distinguished hotel stands out for its unique character.
