Historic and gastronomic route through southern Spain on a Belle Époque train

The Al Ándalus Train offers two seven-day routes through Andalusia with exclusive service and comfort

Designed for those who value comfort, history, and gastronomy, the Al Ándalus Train by Renfe offers a seven-day journey through Andalusia aboard restored historic carriages evoking the Belle Époque. With routes that travel between Seville and Granada, this luxury train allows you to discover World Heritage cities, savor regional cuisine, and enjoy personalized services, all on an elegant and spacious train. Measuring almost 1,500 feet in length and with capacity for 64 passengers, the Al Ándalus is the longest train currently running in Spain. Its 14 carriages, which include a restaurant, bar, lounges, and seven sleeper cars, faithfully reproduce the atmosphere of elite travel in the 1920s, when this series was used by the British monarchy on their journeys through France. The train runs on two seven-day routes connecting Seville and Granada in both directions. On the Seville-Granada route, passengers begin their trip with a guided tour of the capital before traveling through Jerez, Cádiz, Ronda, Córdoba, Úbeda, and Baeza, finishing off their journey in Granada. On the return route, tourists start off in the so-called Nasrid city, with similar stops in the opposite direction.

Each day includes guided cultural tours of monuments like the Córdoba Mosque or the Alhambra, lunches at local restaurants, and onboard meals prepared by specialist chefs along the way. Additional activities include oil tastings at mills and equestrian shows. Passengers can choose between two types of accommodation: the Gran Clase Cabin, measuring 70.8 square feet and equipped with single beds and a private bathroom; or the Deluxe Suite, measuring 88.9 square feet, with a double bed and a hydro-massage shower. Both categories include a minibar, adjustable climate control, and 24-hour room service.
