The Spanish delegation participating in the “Merhaba İspanya” Workshops, organised by Turespaña through its Spanish Tourism Office in Rome, concluded its programme in Istanbul with a professional visit to the headquarters of TÜRSAB, the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies, the leading sectoral organisation with public status and mandatory membership for all travel agencies in Türkiye.

TÜRSAB organised a specific presentation for the Spanish delegation, detailing the functioning of the Turkish agency system, the particularities of the Turkish tourism market and its relevant ongoing training programme for agents, highlighting its key role in the professionalisation of the sector and the promotion of international destinations such as Spain. This encounter enabled in-depth understanding of the country's agency ecosystem and strengthened institutional ties with Türkiye's reference institution. With this final day, Turespaña successfully closes the first direct workshops held in this strategic market, laying the foundations for greater commercial cooperation and sustained growth in tourist flows between Spain and Türkiye.
