Tourspain Honors Olga Ramudo at the Friends of Spain and Spanish Brands Ceremony

On September 11, the Friends of Spain and Spanish Brands Ceremony took place at the prestigious Loews Hotel in Miami Beach. The event highlighted and honored the key contributions of individuals and brands that play an essential role in strengthening the presence and growth of Brand Spain across the United States. The ceremony was organized by the Leading Brands of Spain Forum and the Spain-US Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with Tourspain, ICEX, and the Chamber of Commerce of Spain. Its purpose was to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of certain personalities and companies in expanding the presence of Spanish products and promoting Spain’s cultural and business identity in the U.S. market. Within this framework, Tourspain presented a special recognition to an individual who has contributed to raising Spain’s profile as an attractive tourist destination for American travelers and to opening such a strategic market for the country. This distinction was presented by Elvira Marcos, Tourism Counselor in Miami, to Olga Ramudo, in recognition of her outstanding career in the travel and tourism sector, as well as her determination in founding her own travel agency, which led her to become one of the most respected professionals in the industry. Today, Olga serves as Senior Vice President of Gray Dawes Travel for Florida and Latin America, as well as President and CEO of Express Travel, bringing with her more than 36 years of professional experience. The ceremony was attended by Ángeles Moreno Bau, Ambassador of Spain to the United States, along with other prominent authorities and representatives from both Spain and the city of Miami, further reinforcing the strong and enduring ties between the two countries.
