Seville, the Next Host City of the IGLTA Global Convention 2026

Los Angeles, October 29, 2025. – The Spanish Tourism Office in Los Angeles, in collaboration with Andalusia and the City of Seville, carried out a major promotional initiative during the IGLTA (International LGBTQ+ Travel Association) Global Convention in Palm Springs. The goal was to position Seville as the host city for the 2026 edition and to encourage strong international participation.

The themed hospitality suite, located in the Madera Room of the Renaissance Hotel, became one of the main meeting points of the event, attracting more than 60% of all registered convention attendees. Designed as an immersive experience, the space showcased the cultural identity, warmth, and welcoming spirit of Seville and Andalusia—creating excitement and generating anticipation for next year’s convention.

Throughout the week, the program featured destination presentations focused on the 2026 convention, tastings of Andalusian products, flamenco performances, hands-on craft workshops, and live shows. These activities aimed not only to highlight the uniqueness of the destination but also to convey a clear message: Seville is ready to host the global event, offering a distinctive combination of history, innovation, diversity, and organizational excellence.

The strong attendance and high level of engagement with tour operators, industry leaders, and international media reaffirm Spain’s position as a global benchmark for inclusive tourism and establish Seville as the official host of the next IGLTA Global Convention, which is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated editions in recent years.
