Organized by the Spanish Tourism Institute (Turespaña), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, in collaboration with the Regional Government of Extremadura, the 5th Turespaña Convention will bring together the main stakeholders in the tourism sector at the Cáceres Conference and Exhibition Center from October 7 to 9, to explore and promote innovative, sustainable, and high value-added models that enrich the tourist experience and improve destination management.

Under the theme Experiences that Transform: Building the Best Tourism, the Convention’s program will focus on creating unique and authentic tourism experiences, emphasizing how to design and market experiences that generate lasting impact and value.

Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and case studies, key topics will be addressed, such as the cross-sectoral nature of tourism, the Spain Tourism 2030 strategy, the application of artificial intelligence in experiential marketing, and the role of destinations in generating authentic and sustainable experiences.

October 7, the first day of the Convention, will be dedicated to bilateral technical meetings between tourism counsellors and Turespaña staff with destinations and tourism companies. Over the following two days, attendees will participate in plenary sessions, panel debates, and presentations of best practices related to experiential tourism, fostering innovation and sustainability in the sector
