This line of action is aimed at facilitating the marketing of the Spanish tourism products in accordance with the needs and opportunities present on the international markets for each segment of the demand. |
It also endeavours to support the creation of Product Clubs and the use of marketing tools, which will in each case help to promote the use of the most effective distribution channels.
Our aim is to encourage both the public institutions of promotion as well as the industry to make a major leap into the marketing of its products, as demanded by the new environment surrounding Spanish tourism. The idea is to apply a mixed marketing strategy in terms of the targets selected for the marketing of the product, which would be capable of taking to its full expansion the potentiality of that segment of the demand.
In order to support the marketing of specific tourism products (Sun and Sea, Cultural and Urban Tourism, Sports and Rural Tourism, and Congress and Incentive Tourism), as well as the inter-regional trade names, we carry out an intense collaboration with specialized tour operators and travel agencies, but we are also using more new tools and sources for the promotion and direct marketing aimed at the final consumer. In addition, we support the marketing of new products by means of the implementation of cooperative marketing programmes with Product Clubs.
